22.10.2012 -

Management Circle, one of the top-class organizers in the field of training and further education for managers, held the "CMO Executive Circle" in Frankfurt am Main on 15 and 16 October. doubleSlash was one of the participants.

Presentation on customer touchpoint management to marketing decision-makersIn a brand new conference format, the "CMO Executive Circle" the market decision-makers of large companies. The motto of the event premiere was "Future Marketing - Focus on customer loyalty, touchpoint management and brand management" and was held for the first time as a combination of presentations in the traditional sense and face-to-face meetings between solution providers and CMOs.
This "Executive Circles" are a new series of events at the further education provider Management Circle, which sees itself as a professional trainer at the highest level.

Future topics in marketing

The speakers' perspectives on the future topics of marketing, which covered a conceivably broad range from Prof. Dr. Claus Hipp to Sascha Lobo, varied greatly. What was interesting was the consensus of a constructively critical view of social media engagement - social media yes, but not only and better in the future, please!
Fortunately, doubleSlash topics such as Customer Touchpoint Management, Marketing Efficiency, Technology Driven Marketing and the role of gap bridging between the agile requirements of marketing managers and the mostly consolidating efforts of IT departments, which doubleSlash so successfully takes on in customer projects, were included by almost every top speaker as a relevant topic or even specifically mentioned as a future key requirement.

Convincing marketing assessment

This impression was also confirmed by the numerous one-on-one and fireside chats that the doubleSlash experts Andreas Strobel and Jochen Mayer were able to hold with marketing decision-makers from the first and second levels of large companies. In particular, the doubleSlash service offerings Marketing Assessment, Online Configurator, smartM2M, Marketing Planner and secureTransfer aroused great interest among the discussion partners.

All in all, the event, which was very competently moderated by Prof. Nils Hafner from the University of Lucerne, was highly interesting and the extremely exclusive location of Villa Kennedy in Frankfurt was hard to beat. "We thought it was a bit of a shame, as did some other participants, that B2B marketing was rather underrepresented at this event," says Jochen Mayer. This makes it all the more interesting that B2B marketing was a focus topic at the slashTalk 2013 conference!
