Corridor talks part 6 - A quick question

This time we met Wolfgang in the hallway - a real doubleSlash veteran. Wolfgang is team leader for our production team 4. We asked him to tell us a bit about himself and his job at doubleSlash.

1. how did you come to doubleSlash?

I was studying at Furtwangen University at the time, like so many people who work here. That's where I met Jürgen and it was through him that I became aware of doubleSlash. Then came the classic entry via an internship followed by a diploma thesis. That was in 2000, and I've been working here as a software developer ever since.

2. what is your role in the current project? What is your task at doubleSlash?

Politically experienced IT chaplain in the sales and marketing environment is probably the best way to describe it. I have many fields of activity here at doubleSlash and that's what makes this job so exciting. Be it in multi-project management, in production or in quality management. You're confronted with something new every day, so it never gets boring. I also have a lot of creative freedom, both in the projects and in the company itself. For example, I can be involved in business development or quality management.

3. doubleSlash sees itself as a modern and innovative service provider. What do you see as modern and innovative at doubleSlash?

For me, it's definitely the employees! Professionally and technically fit people who regularly come up with new ideas and get involved. There's always a spirit of cooperation here, nobody works against each other but all work together on one thing - that's great! Colleagues show great respect for each other and don't push their interests at the expense of others. That is unique for me. And then of course the opportunities we have here. Everyone can develop and grow freely.
